SPIRITUAL DIRECTION AND RETREATS
Sister Edna Francis Hersinger, SC joined the staff of Xavier Center as Director of the Spirituality and Programming this summer. She brings her experience from the ministries of education, religious formation, and pastoral care, most recently at Saint Anne Villa - the longterm health care and assisted living facility for the Sisters of Charity of St. Elizabeth.
Sr. Edna is the coordinator of Xavier Center spirituality offerings such as our desert days and retreat opportunities, directed and guided.
Private, Guided and Directed Retreats are available at Xavier Center. These retreats are times of solitude and prayer based on the Scriptures and the opportunity to meet daily with a Director. We have a wing set aside our our 3rd floor for private, guided, and directed retreats to help you find quiet and solitude. There is a small chapel there as well as some bedrooms. Depending on the schedule of the Center, a retreat of any length may be arranged at most times. Please contact our main office or Sr. Edna Francis for more information.
