Sister Simone Campbell, a Sister of Social Service, is a leader, a facilitator, a lawyer and a poet. Since 2004, she has been the Executive Director of NETWORK, a national Catholic social justice lobby in Washington, D.C. Her previous experience includes positions of executive director of JERICHO, an interfaith public policy and advocacy organization in California; founder and leader attorney of a community law center in California; and leadership of her international community.
Father Anthony Ciorra is Dean of the Graduate School of Religion and Religious education at Fordham University and a former professor, chaplain and founding Director of the Center for Theological and Spiritual Development at the College of Saint Elizabeth. He is a respected and loved retreat director throughout the United States and a familiar figure to many in northern New Jersey.
Sister Anita M. Constance, SC, Director of Xavier Center, author of several spiritual books—Night Vision...Praying through Change and A Child Will Lead...Healing the Child Within—has 15 years of pastoral care experience at Saint Anne Villa, Convent Station, NJ. Her other ministries include liturgy, spiritual direction, bereavement support and pastoral counseling in parish settings.
Sister Muriel Curran, SSND, received an M.S. in Religious Education from Boston College and an M.S.T. in Sacred Theology from Regis College in Toronto, Ontario. Her career in education spanned elementary to adult education in Maryland, New York and New Jersey. Sr. Muriel enjoyed seven years of retreat/spiritual direction ministry at Xavier Center, Convent Station, NJ. She continues to be involved in this ministry throughout North America.
Father Ron Henery ,O.P . is a member of the Dominican Order and was ordained in 1978. He completed studies at the Spiritual Institute in Chicago leading to his ministry with preached and directed retreats, spiritual direction, enneagram workshops and ministry with woman religious and laypersons.
Sister Patricia Reynolds, S.C. has been engaged in teaching, pastoral work and prison and detention visitation. She has taught quilting to immigrant women and others, and would like to share her creative talents with you.
Father Louis Sogliuzzo, SJ is an experienced spiritual director, pastoral counselor, retreat director, pastor, theology teacher, with an M.Div. from the Jesuit School of Theology, Berkeley, CA. Currently, Father Lou is Director of Campus Ministry at Lemoyne College in Syracuse, NY.
Father Bob Vaughn, O.P., a member of the Dominican Order, was ordained in 1971. He was a member of the retreat staff at St. Stephen Priory and Spiritual Life Center from 1971-83. From 1983 to the present, he has been engaged in itinerant preaching and parish mission experiences. He has a rich background in spirituality, days of prayer, directed retreats, and involvement with religious communities and the laity. He is a nature enthusiast and enjoys celebrating the wonders of God’s creation in all of its expressions.
